Electrician

Probe Interiors LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, installation techniques, and safety regulations for interior fit-out projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment, adhering to local regulations and the highest quality standards.

Required Experience – 3 to 4 years

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control equipment, and systems in accordance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., DEWA regulations).
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements for electrical systems.
• Install and connect electrical components, such as switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, and appliances.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure all electrical installations meet relevant local codes and safety standards (e.g., Dubai Electricity and Water Authority – DEWA regulations).
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.  
• Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople, including carpenters, plumbers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper handling and storage of tools and materials.
• Adhere to strict safety regulations and procedures at all times.
• Report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor or project manager promptly.
• Provide accurate material and time estimates for electrical tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as an Electrician, with a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in residential, commercial, or fit-out projects in Dubai or the UAE.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and installation techniques.
• Thorough understanding of local electrical codes and regulations (DEWA).
• Proficient in using various electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Relevant certifications or licenses from DEWA or other recognized authorities are highly desirable.
• A valid UAE driving license may be an advantage.
