This project involved the complete execution of complex Civil and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) works for the Dior Boutique at Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi. Our scope included managing all construction phases, integrating essential building systems, and ensuring compliance with mall regulations. A key part of the work was the significant upgrade to the electrical infrastructure, including consultancy for a power upgrade application from a 24 KW to a 47 KW meter, which was crucial for supporting the store’s high-end lighting and technology requirements. We also handled the installation of a new 100A TP isolator and connection works within the landlord’s electrical room.

We delivered an enhanced scope of work focusing on advanced technology and luxury finishes, integrating sophisticated control systems and managing all IT infrastructure. This included the installation and commissioning of smart automation components such as the Vantage Controls DIN Low voltage relay station and Control4 devices for seamless operation. We built a robust IT backbone by supplying and installing a new 18U IT Rack, running extensive CAT6 and fiber optic cabling (OFC), and performing splicing, crimping, and testing for all data points and screens. Furthermore, we executed critical MEP works such as the removal of old ducts and the installation of new acoustically lined GI ducting and VCDs to comply with mall standards. Architectural detailing included the custom fabrication and installation of bespoke joinery like the Coffee Counter, Working Desk, and Kitchen unit, finished with premium laminates and Corian cladding.

Our project management successfully navigated numerous client-requested additions and variations, including specialized lighting systems by Forma Lighting and managing the logistics of client-supplied materials like the façade stone, which involved facilitating air freight charges and customs clearance. Simultaneously, we optimized the project by coordinating the deletion of certain items, primarily security systems, general shelving, and specific AV components, to streamline costs and focus on the current, high-priority scope. The successful delivery of the Dior Boutique at Marina Mall stands as a testament to our expertise in executing high-specification retail fit-outs while managing complex system integrations and evolving project requirements.
