The scope of work, detailed under Additional Works / Variation 5 for Villa 31, involved significant structural and aesthetic modifications across both the Ground Floor (GF) and First Floor (FF). A major part of the project involved changes to the exterior and bedrooms, specifically the removal of the existing clay roof tiles over the three First Floor bedrooms. This required installing a new metal frame to create a single slope for the roof, which included full waterproofing and decking3. For interior finishes, the work included removing all existing skirting in the bedrooms and preparing the surface (approximately 150 linear meters) with plastering and finishing to make it ready for new skirting. Additionally, the gypsum corniche in the main entrance corridor ceiling was removed and replaced with a shadow groove 5, and 50mm thick gypsum cladding was installed in the GF Master Bathroom to hide an electrical socket.

A considerable portion of the project was dedicated to the electrical system upgrades on the Ground and First Floors. This involved the supply and installation of three AC isolators with all necessary electrical connections. Extensive work was done to prepare the walls for new switch and socket installations, including chasing walls to install new PVC conduits, cables (in $2.5mm^{2}$, $4mm^{2}$, and $6mm^{2}$ sizes), and patching the walls with plastering and putty works. This preparation allowed for the final installation of client-supplied face plates for 27 new double sockets, 25 new single sockets, and 12 new switches. The team also completed the conduiting for 7 new data points.
