Probe Interiors LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Gypsum Carpenter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of gypsum board installation, false ceiling construction, and related interior carpentry work. You will play a crucial role in creating the framework for interior spaces, ensuring precision, quality, and adherence to design specifications.

Required Experience – 3 to 4 years

Responsibilities:

  • Install gypsum board (drywall) on walls and ceilings, creating smooth and level surfaces.
  • Construct and install false ceilings, including various designs and configurations.
  • Build partitions, bulkheads, and other gypsum board structures according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, and shape gypsum boards to fit accurately around fixtures, openings, and corners.
  • Apply joint compound and tape to seams and joints to create a seamless finish.
  • Create and install decorative gypsum elements, such as cornices, moldings, and arches (if required).
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, plumbers, and painters, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper handling and storage of materials and tools.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and procedures at all times.
  • Report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor or project manager promptly.
  • Provide accurate material and time estimates for gypsum work.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Gypsum Carpenter, with a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out projects in Dubai or the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of gypsum board types, installation techniques, and finishing methods.
  • Proficient in constructing various types of false ceilings.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent cutting, shaping, and installation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
  • Good physical condition and stamina to perform the required tasks.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A valid UAE driving license may be an advantage.
