PROBE INTERIORS executed a comprehensive interior fit-out project that involved both demolition and new construction to give the space a new look and design. The initial phase focused on carefully preparing the site by removing the existing floor tiles and screeding, as well as the old gypsum ceiling and walls, with all debris being properly disposed of.

Following the demolition, our company rebuilt the space with a modern aesthetic. We installed new screeding to prepare the floor for the installation of client-supplied 20mm thick Travertine slabs, which were precisely cut using a waterjet to match the design specifications. The new ceiling was constructed with fire-rated gypsum, and we added architectural features like a gypsum cove and bulkhead to create visual interest. This new ceiling was enhanced with the supply and installation of LED strips and diffusers in the cove, providing a contemporary lighting effect that highlights the store’s new design.

The project also included significant electrical work to support the new layout. We installed new exit and emergency lights, ensuring the space meets safety standards. We also provided and installed wall flex outlet points and completed the electrical work necessary for the client-supplied spotlights, which were strategically placed to accentuate key areas. To create a modern, open feel, we supplied and installed new  thick mild steel square columns with base plates, securing them from the floor to the concrete slab as per the millwork drawings. This entire process, from demolition to final installation, was managed to deliver a fully transformed and functional space with a new, sleek design.
