Tile Mason/Tile Setter

Probe Interiors LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tile Mason/Tile Setter to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various tiling materials, installation techniques, and patterns for both interior and potentially some exterior applications within our fit-out projects. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional quality tile work, contributing significantly to the overall aesthetic and durability of our projects.

Required Experience – 3 to 4 years

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives or mortar.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and tile patterns.
• Measure and cut tiles accurately using manual and power cutting tools.
• Set tiles in various patterns on floors, walls, countertops, and other surfaces, ensuring precise alignment and spacing.
• Apply grout and sealant, ensuring a clean and professional finish.
• Work with a variety of tile materials, including ceramic, porcelain, natural stone (marble, granite, etc.), and mosaic tiles.
• Ensure all tiling work meets project specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople, including carpenters, plumbers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper handling and storage of tools and materials.
• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures at all times.
• Report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor or project manager promptly.
• Provide accurate material and time estimates for tiling tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Tile Mason/Tile Setter, with a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in residential, commercial, or fit-out projects in Dubai or the UAE.
• Comprehensive knowledge of various tiling materials, adhesives, grouts, and sealants.
• Proficient in using a variety of tiling tools and equipment, including tile cutters, wet saws, levels, and trowels.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Strong understanding of different tiling patterns and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and stamina to perform the required tasks.
• Good communication skills.
• Valid UAE driving license may be an advantage.
